Nine herbs. Three regions. No shortcuts.
Real herbs
Nine base herbs in every stick. Neem, turmeric, vacha, clove, and a wood-and-resin base. No synthetic fragrance, no fillers, no charcoal.
Handcrafted
Made in small batches by women artisans in India. No machines. The technique is older than the brand by a few centuries.
Three regions
Assam, Karnataka, West Bengal. One accent ingredient per stick, sourced from the soil it's known for. Lemongrass from the northeast, sandalwood from the south, patchouli from the east.

Good questions.
How is this different from regular incense?
Most incense is built on a charcoal-and-bamboo core with synthetic fragrance sprayed on top. Moksae is the opposite — the stick itself is a paste of nine herbs, handcrafted with no charcoal, no bamboo, and no synthetic oils. Cleaner burn, lower smoke, and the scent you smell is the ingredient on the label.
How long does each stick burn?
About 35 minutes per stick. Long enough to settle into a moment, short enough not to overpower the room.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Moksae is childproof in the way that matters — no charcoal, no synthetic fragrance, no phthalates, and no bamboo splinter at the core. Just nine real herbs and steam-distilled essential oils. That said, any burning stick produces smoke — light it in a ventilated room and keep the burning end away from small hands and curious tails.
Why does it cost more than regular incense?
Real herbs cost more than charcoal. Handcrafting costs more than machines. Steam-distilled oils cost more than synthetic ones. A stick of Moksae lasts 35 minutes and replaces things you're probably already paying for — a candle, a diffuser, a wind-down ritual.
